I gave it 3.5 stars. The food is decent quality overall. I prefer perogies to be lightly fried. Not so much a negative, just personal preference. Soft and mushy perogies, I am not a fan of. The other menu items are good. Place is clean and neat, but smallish inside.
Great little place with exceptional food! The food brings so many memories of childhood and a great sense of comfort ❤️ You can tell love goes into the making for all the food here. If the weather is nice grab a seat outside!
Bare bones café, but with a huge variety of pierogis and Polish food in general! Ordered half a dozen potato and half a dozen potato and cheese hot with butter and onions, a side of sauerkraut, and a side of kielbasa; all were fantastic, and the sauerkraut remains my favorite I've ever had.
Food was delicious! Great place to enjoy some real pierogies. Very friendly staff. Will be returning!

For the people who like the details here is the story. You know an ethnic place is going to be good when it's ran by women who are speaking the language when you walk in.
The service was excellent, it felt like you were being served by a family member. They serve everything is packages and you pay at the register so you can drop in for take out or take advantage of the tables they have and eat there but either way when your ready to go it's a get up and go type of thing.
In regards to beverages they have a standing fridge full of coke products in plastic bottles for you to select from.
They have many different platters for you to select from or if you like you can order individual items à la carte. They also have deserts which we took advantage of and they are very generous when it comes to portion sizes.
My family had everything the offered to try them all and all were excellent however you are likely reading this because you saw Pierogie in the name of this place and I am pleased to say no matter which type of pierogi you get you are going to be very pleased. The pierogi's were soft and delicate and the filling was exquisite in taste and texture.
Final bonus is they have everything available frozen if you would like to take some for home and warm up on your schedule. Handy for folks who drove some distance to try this place and want to have some later when it's convenient for them.
I walked in and two ladies with thick accents welcomed me...I knew one of two things would happen next, either this would be great or it would be a bust. Thankfully, it was the former; this small place has great food!
Kielbasa had good flavor without being greasy, the sauerkraut exploded with flavor, the pierogi were delectable but would have preferred browned onions, the haluski is a meal in itself, and the stuffed cabbage and peppers were like I used to remember growing up.
Everything here was great and at an affordable price. Hopefully this taste stays here and won't be forgotten.
Growing up I had a great great uncle from Czech who made stuffed cabbage. Once I took a bite I was immediately transported back to my childhood! Three sauerkraut was remarkable and we had 3 different types of pierogies that were absolutely delicious!!! We will DEFINITELY be coming back when we're in the Burgh!!!
Such a wide variety of pierogies! Available both frozen and hot. Several great meal combos and side dishes as well. Casual dining room, friendly and knowledgeable service. Definitely woth the 40-minute drive.
